If you grow up in Hawaii, raised by your grandparents, you're 'exotic' and 'different.'

Grow up in Alaska eating mooseburgers, you're an American story.

If your name is Barack you're a radical, unpatriotic, Muslim.

Name your kids Willow, Trig, and Track, and you're a maverick.

Graduate from Harvard Law School and you are unstable.

Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, then you're well-grounded.

If you spend 3 years as a community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, help register 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law professor, 8 years as a State Senator of a district of 750,000 people, chair the state Senate's Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate representing a state of 13 million people, sponsor 131 bills, and serve on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works, and Veteran's Affairs committees, you don't have any real leadership experience.

But when your resume reads: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the Mayor of a town of 7,000 people, 2 years as Governor of a state of 650,000 people, you're qualified to be a heartbeat away from the presidency.

If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising 2 daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're not a real Christian.

If you cheated on your first wife, while she was ill, with a rich heiress, AND THEN married the heiress a month after you met, you're a Christian.

If you teach responsible, age-appropriate sex education, including the use of birth control, you erode the fiber of American society.

If you staunchly advocate abstinence-only education, while your teen daughter ends up pregnant, you're responsible.

If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a position in a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city community, then gave that up to raise a family, you don't represent America's family values.

If your husband is called 'First Dude', has a DWI conviction, didn't register to vote until 25, and was a member of a group that advocated secession of Alaska from the USA, yours is the quintessential American family.

If you are noted for your ability to appeal to the masses, widely known for your interpersonal communication skills and ability to make both sides believe you have their best interest at heart, then you are not fit to lead.

And, finally, if you're famous for your quick temper, you should be the one to have your finger on the little red button.

The mind of the intelligent seeks knowledge, But the mouth of fools feeds on folly.

PUMA. When I first heard the term I thought to myself, Here we go again! Am I to be verbally assaulted by yet another derogatory term from the pop culture lexicon, describing the sexual prowess of women that are old enough to be grandmothers? In this particular case the answer would be no! Thank God, as I fight back throwing up in my mouth. No offense, but until I am a Grandpa I don't really want to think about having sex with Grandma's.

No ladies and gentleman these PUMA's are the worse kind! Worse than having sex with Granmdmas. Worse than being eaten by a wild Puma. And definitely not as cool, hip, or urbane as the sports shoe. These PUMA's are basically disgruntled, poor losers, obnoxious, whiny, former Hilary Clinton supporters/current Sarah Palin bandwagoneers, and Ex-Democratic Party members.

Party Unity My Ass or People United Means Action... Can they be anymore foolish?

I have two problems with PUMA. The first problem is, the logic behind forming a group to not only bash their former party leader(re: catty) but also to endorse the opposing party's leader (re: backstabbing). All because their Herald lost the nomination. This seems to illustrate the "woman scorned" theory quite literally. How does it make sense to boycott Obama and support McCain? In the past eight years, George Bush and the Republican party has sent us to war, collapsed our economy, and deprived us of our most basic right, "the pursuit of happiness". I don't know many people in the past year that have not had some type of monumental financial set back; from blue collar factory workers to small business owners to large corporations... everybody has been (or is in) real trouble. That doesn't sound like pursuing happiness to me. McCain, as President, only promises more of the same. Furthermore, how can women take McCain's choice of Sarah Palin as his VP, as anything less than an obvious pandering and patronizing ploy to gain their votes. Are you kidding me? PUMA's (and the like) lack of logic, cattiness, backstabbing, inaneness, and "woman scorned" behavior are the very actions that make many American's question whether or not a Woman can run this country.

Secondly, I am not sure if the PUMA really exist. There is a blog, a plan of action, and there's even Christi Atkins, the consumate all-american mother, "who wants nothing more than to protect her children."



Have you considered that by putting McCain in office that your children may be the next generation fighting a needless war, only to return broken, betrayed, and forgotten by the old men that sent them into battle. Give me break! You have your panties in a knot because Hilary Clinton did not win the party's nomination. Get over it. Hilary can run again if she so chooses. Your job PUMA, should have been to rally the women of U.S. to support Obama and the Democratic Party, making Sarah Palin presence in this election null and void. Instead you fell prey to sheepish mentality and took the road (always traveled) of pettiness to subvert the change we so desperately need. Shame on you!

Republican Democrats and Independents alike.... PUMA is little more than a Neo-Conservative decoy used to divide, misinform, and fool the masses. Do you recall, The Blair Witch Project? With it's elaborate website, faux mythology, and mass marketing campaign. It was thought to be real also... until it debuted in theaters. I felt the same way, when rumors circulated, months ago, about long time Democrats (of both genders) threatening to jump ship if Hilary lost. It's all a marketing scheme propagated by certain sectors mass media and those who fear to lose their power. Again I ask, are you KIDDING me?

DON"T FALL PREY TO SHEEP MENTALITY... WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH AND IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE!
